Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

We do not take insurance for patient consultations and follow up appointments. There are options to use your insurance for labs and diagnostics, however some specialty testing is not covered by insurance. This will be explained on an individual basis at your appointment.

Why don’t you take insurance?

This is the standard for Functional and Integrative Care. We devote more time for our consultations. Furthermore, we also choose to spend extra time researching new knowledge and gaining new skills to share with you and your health endeavors.

What payment methods do you take?

We accept cash, check, and all credit cards. Health Savings Accounts may also be used for payment.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require a 72 hour notice for cancellations. Because we schedule more time with each person, when someone cancels, it creates a large hole in the day when someone else could have received care. 72 hours allows us time to treat someone else.

Can you be my primary care provider?

We will make every effort to help you with your health conditions, but do not provide many of the services a designated PCP offers.

Do you offer telehealth services?

Yes. Online or phone consultations are available depending on your location. Please let us know if this is something you desire.

Am I responsible for obtaining outside health records?

Yes. We ask that you please bring these records in at our appointment for review. You will also be responsible for completing any appropriate patient forms, questionnaires, and consents as needed.
